Welcome, bIG MIKE.

Everybody, please, a warm welcome to the blogroll for regular commenter biG MIKE from Australia (that's near Germany, I think). He tells me he will start capitalizing his name properly when he becomes a non-fat trackie, which is like a low-tar cigarette. Skinny trackies do exist, I'm told, but I've never seen one. Perhaps they are common in Australia, where Mike lives (near Switzerland, I think), along with other endangered species like the Platypus. Mike is the man who taught me the meaning of the ancient expression, "I complained that I had no vintage Masi, but then I met a man who had no Serotta..."

For the record, skinny trackies are more commonly referred to as pursuiters.

My personal motto: show me a cyclist with no Suntour Superbe Pro and I'll show you a cyclist with no history and no class.

My other personal motto: if it's got more than one gear and/or more than zero brakes, it's not a real bike.

Fortunately, I finished school several years ago, so I'm comfortable with not having History, or any class whatsoever.
